1. Intended use

Muttsbutts kits are accessories for the everyday care of healthy dogs. They are not toys for humans, tools for veterinary care, or training aids for working dogs in protection, hunting, or service contexts. Misuse outside intended scope voids manufacturer responsibility.

2. Choking and small-part warnings

Keep small parts away from children under 3. Several kit components — clickers, training-pouch contents, leash hooks, name-tag rings, small chew toys — contain small parts and present a choking hazard. Adults should supervise any setting where small humans and these objects share the floor.

Supervise heavy chewers. No dog toy is unconditionally indestructible. Inspect toys weekly and discard any with loose pieces, exposed stuffing, or visible cracks.

3. Vet guidance

For dogs with any of the following, please consult your vet before changing routines or introducing new equipment:

  • Recent surgery
  • Arthritis, hip dysplasia, or other joint disease
  • Heart, kidney, liver, or other chronic disease
  • Pregnancy or lactation
  • Behavioural disorders or known aggression/reactivity

Muttsbutts kits do not replace professional veterinary or behavioural advice. The included PDF guides are general-information only.

4. Size and breed differences

Kits are designed for standard ranges of size and weight. Toy breeds (under 5 kg) and giant breeds (over 45 kg) may need bespoke replacements for collars, leads, harnesses, or beds. Contact us before ordering and we will swap items at no extra cost where possible.

5. Prohibited uses

You may not use Muttsbutts products to:

  • Cause animal cruelty, distress, or staged content depicting cruelty.
  • Conduct animal testing of any kind.
  • Restrain or strike a human.
  • Modify into devices intended to harm.

We may refuse future orders and contact relevant authorities where evidence of these uses comes to our attention.

6. AI and content disclaimer

Some imagery and copy across our site, journal, and educational PDFs may be assisted by AI tools. Editorial accuracy is reviewed by humans. Content remains general information — it is not personalised veterinary, behavioural, or medical advice. For decisions that affect your dog's health, always consult a qualified vet.

7. Report a safety issue

If you spot a defect, suspect a product caused injury, or have a safety concern, write to support@muttsbuttsco.com with photos and the order number. We respond within one working day and run a safety review on every flag.
